Piedmont Park Mini-Master Plan meeting is March 29
[Duluth, MN] - The public is invited to attend a community meeting to revisit the proposed Mini-Master Plan for Piedmont Park. The meeting will be an opportunity to clarify the neighborhood's priorities within the plan, as well as review the funding process and timeline. Piedmont Park is one of fourteen qualifying parks for the River Corridor Neighborhood Parks Fund. The Fund is part of the larger St. Louis River Corridor Project supported by the 1/2 and 1/2 Tourism Tax Fund.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 29 from 6:00 -7:30 pm, in the Piedmont Community Center, 2302 West 23rdStreet.
The final Mini-Master Plan for Piedmont Park will be used as a tool for planning and implementing future improvements to the park by the City of Duluth, with the assistance of community partners. A copy of the draft plan is available for review at the City website, http://www.duluthmn.gov/st-louis-river-corridor/neighborhood-parks/ Revisions to the plan will be made based on community feedback provided at the meeting.
