INCIDENT LOCATION: 800 block East 2nd Street Duluth
On Thursday, March 24th, 2016 at 11:22 a.m. Duluth Police and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force arrested 58 year old Roy Joseph Defoe. Duluth Police and investigators from the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force searched Defoe’s residence after receiving information that heroin was being sold out of a residence in the 800 block of East 2nd Street. 27.7 grams of heroin along with other evidence of heroin sales were located and seized during the search. Defoe was taken to jail and formally charged in St. Louis District Court on 1st Degree Sale of Heroin.
Duluth Police would like to commend the individual who passed along the information regarding the drug activity leading to the arrest of Defoe.
