INCIDENT LOCATION: 5900 block Highway 2 in Solway Township
On Thursday, March 17th, 2016, Duluth Police, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force arrested 52 year old Mark Alan Peterson. Investigators executed a search warrant in the 5900 block of Highway 2 in Solway Township seizing numerous items associated with the sale of methamphetamine, including numerous plastic baggies, an assortment of glass drug pipes, numerous baggies and small tins containing a substance field testing positive for methamphetamine. Approximately 32 grams of packaged methamphetamine and $2,000 dollars in U.S. Currency was also seized. Peterson was taken to jail and formally charged in St. Louis District Court for Controlled Substance Crime in the 1st Degree.
