INCIDENT LOCATION: 1500 Block East 2nd Street Duluth
On Wednesday, April 27th, 2016 at 4:38 p.m. Duluth Police and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force arrested 30 year old Jamie Lynn Nyquist of Duluth after investigators executed a search warrant at an address in the 1500 block of East 2nd Street and on Nyquist. During the execution of the search warrant, investigators located and seized approximately 5.8 grams of heroin, .3 grams of methamphetamine, 44.5 grams of marijuana, and other evidence of narcotics sale. Nyquist was taken to jail and formally charged in St. Louis District Court for 2nd Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance and 3rd Degree Possession of Methamphetamine.
Nyquist has a prior court involvement for possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree for which she received a statutory stay of adjudication. She was discharged from probation in 2013 having successfully met the terms of that statutory stay.
