INCIDENT LOCATION: Area of I35 and Hwy 210 Carlton County
On Thursday, May 5th, 2016 at 10:45 p.m., Duluth Police and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force arrested 30 year old Darrell Antonio Leary of Duluth after investigators executed a search warrant at a hotel in Carlton County. With the assistance of Carlton County Sheriff’s Department, Cloquet and Fond du Lac Police Departments, investigators located and seized 7 grams of heroin and $5,761 dollars in U.S. Currency. Leary was taken to jail and formally charged in Carlton County District Court for 2nd Degree Controlled Substance Crime and 3rd Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance.
