[Duluth, MN] - Mayor Emily Larson and Minnesota Housing Finance Agency Commissioner, Mary Tingerthal will hold a news conference on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 11:45 AM in City Hall, Room 405, to highlight Duluth housing needs and priorities into the future. This is a follow up to the Duluth Housing Summit held in 2014 that attracted over 200 participants. Commissioner Tingerthal also attended that summit and provided the keynote address. The summit focused on the gap in Duluth's housing stock to meet the diverse needs of residents and the opportunities to reduce that gap. The Mayor and Commissioner will review developments and projects since the summit and the potential for future partnerships and opportunities.      

    

The Mayor and Commissioner will make brief remarks and be available for questions.

 

The Commissioner and her staff will be touring Duluth neighborhoods and housing project sites in the afternoon. Media in attendance will be provided a schedule of tour locations.
