Traffic Advisory - Closure for Lincoln Park "Meet on the Street"
On Sunday July 17th the Lincoln Park Children and Families Collaborative will hold its Lincoln Park "Meet on the Street" event from 2pm - 5pm
- Event set up will begin at 12:30 pm until about 6pm; West 3rd street will be closed to traffic from 24th Ave W to 27th Ave W.
- Westbound traffic will be detoured down 24th Ave W to Superior Street, West to 27th Ave W and back up to 3rd Street.
- Eastbound traffic will be detoured down 27th Ave W to Superior Street, East to 24th Ave W, and back up to 3rd Street.
- Detour signs will guide traffic on to these routes.
- 3rd Street will be posted no parking on either side from 12:00 pm -7pm, and vehicles will be tagged and towed to clear the event route. A portion of 27th Avenue West will also be posted no park in the vicinity of 3rd Street to allow vehicles room to turn onto the 27th Avenue West detour route.
Drivers are asked to use caution in the area during this event and to watch for pedestrians, detours, barricades, no parking signs, and officers directing traffic.
