INCIDENT LOCATION: 2nd Avenue East and 3rd Street Duluth
On Monday, July 18th, 2016 at approximately 1:25 p.m., Duluth Police and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force arrested 36 year old Mario Terrell Jackson of Austin, MN after investigators witnessed Jackson engage in a hand-to-hand drug transaction in the area of 2nd Avenue East and 3rd Street. During search incident to arrest, 81 individually wrapped pieces of heroin were located on Jackson totaling 43 grams along with U.S. Currency. Jackson was taken to jail and formally charged in Saint Louis District Court on 1st degree controlled substance crime.
