300 Block of First Street West to Temporarily Close for Building Repairs

 

[Duluth, MN] - The contractors working on the Board of Trade building restoration will need to close W 1st St. between 3rd Ave W and 4th Ave W for the period of 7:00 pm Tuesday, July 26th to 6:00 am Wednesday, July 27th to assemble a crane that will be working on the building as a result of damages from the July 21 storm. 

Once the crane is assembled, the crane will sit in the eastern 150 feet of this block to make repairs on the building. This project will be for the period of approximately July 27th to August 6th. First Street will temporarily be made into two way traffic for this half of the block so cars can get into the parking garage at 315 W 1st St. Businesses on the block have been notified of this proposed plan.
