INCIDENT LOCATION: Lake Avenue and Fifth Street
On Friday, August 12th, 2016 at 3:07 p.m., Duluth Police and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force arrested 45 year old Torrance Deshante Elion after investigators executed a search warrant at an address in the area of Lake Avenue and Fifth Street. During execution of the search warrant, investigators located and seized 15.2 grams of heroin. Torrance Elion was taken to jail and criminally charged in Saint Louis District Court on 1st degree possession of heroin.
Elion has a significant felony criminal history including weapons possession, controlled substance-related convictions, and assaults.
