Mayor Larson to host community listening series

Mayor Larson is hosting community listening series with each City Councilor in their respective districts

[Duluth, MN] – Mayor Emily Larson and City Councilor Elissa Hansen invite the public to attend "City Hall in the City," on August 31, 2016, one of a series of community listening sessions focused on providing residents with the chance to share ideas, concerns and needs with the Mayor and a Councilor. Attendees will get a chance to meet one-on-one with the Mayor or Councilor Hansen. Other City staff will be present to help answer questions. 

This City Hall in the City session will take place on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 5:30 pm in the Lafayette Square Community Center, 3016 Minnesota Avenue.

All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend to meet individually with Mayor Larson and Councilor Hansen, or to write down their concerns to be reviewed with staff at a later date. In addition, Mayor Larson will have art supplies for children to share their own ideas for the City. Drawings collected from the meeting will be hung in the Mayor’s office and shared with Councilor Hansen.

Residents will have another opportunity to meet one-on-one with Mayor Larson and City Councilor Howie Hanson at the next City Hall in the City event to be held September 13 at Piedmont Elementary.
