Mayor's Pride Reception Event Traffic Advisory

On Thursday September 1st, the Mayor’s Pride Reception Event will be held at the Depot from 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.   Michigan Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from 5th Avenue West to 6th Avenue West   from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. to allow for event set up / tear down.   This will include the closing of the Michigan Street exit off the freeway.   Michigan Street from 5th Avenue West to 6th Avenue West will also be posted no parking after 2:00 p.m.

The city parking lot at the bottom of 6th Avenue West will remain open and is accessible from 6th Avenue West which will be signed for 2-way traffic from Michigan Street up to Superior Street.

Drivers are urged to use caution when driving the area of the event.
