Mayor Larson to host community listening series,
City Hall in the City on September 13
[Duluth, MN] - Mayor Emily Larson and City Councilor Howie Hanson invite the public to attend "City Hall in the City," on September 13, 2016, one of a series of community listening sessions focused on providing residents with the chance to share ideas, concerns and needs with the Mayor and a Councilor. Attendees will get a chance to meet one-on-one with the Mayor or Councilor Hanson, with other City staff or express their issues in writing. This meeting is not designed to be a forum but rather is intended to allow residents to speak with ease and comfort with their elected officials.
The upcoming City Hall in the City session will take place on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 5:30 pm in the Piedmont Elementary School cafeteria, 2827 Chambersburg Ave.
All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend. In addition, Mayor Larson will have art supplies for children to share their own ideas for the City. Drawings collected from the meeting will be hung in the Mayor’s office and shared with Councilor Hanson.
Residents will have another opportunity to meet one-on-one with Mayor Larson and City Councilor Barb Russ at the next City Hall in the City event to be held in October. The specific date and time will be announced shortly.
All residents are encouraged to participate.
