INCIDENT LOCATION: 700 North block of 59th Avenue West and 700 North block of 56th Avenue West in Duluth
On Wednesday, September 9th, 2016, Duluth Police arrested 22 year old Gage Nathaniel Kasper for two counts of burglary in the 1st degree in connection with two separate burglary cases:
On Wednesday, September 7th, 2016 at 5:51 a.m., Duluth Police responded to a residence in the 700 North block of 59th Avenue West. Officers arrived at the residence and spoke to the victim. Through investigation, it was determined that the residence was entered sometime during the night and items were taken. Latent prints were lifted and analyzed. The prints were determined to belong to Kasper.
On Wednesday, September 7th, 2016 at 8:14 a.m., Duluth Police responded on another report of a burglary at a residence in the 700 North block of 56th Avenue West. Officers arrived at the residence and spoke to the victim. Through investigation, it was determined that sometime during the night, the residence was entered and items were taken.
On September 9, officers conducted surveillance and went to an address in the 400 North block of 58th Avenue West and arrested Kasper on multiple outstanding warrants. During a search incident to arrest, several items belonging to the victims of the burglaries were located. Additional items belonging to the victims were located during the execution of a search warrant at the residence.
Kasper was taken to jail and has been criminally charged in Saint Louis District Court with two counts of 1st degree burglary of an occupied residence.
