Duluth Indigenous Commission to hold Feast and Forum September 29

 

[Duluth, MN] - The public is invited to attend the Duluth Indigenous Commission Feast and Forum scheduled for September 29, 2016. This event serves to educate and engage the community on indigenous history, culture and contributions. The event is free and open to the public. Participants are welcome and encouraged to bring a dish to share. Event details are:

 

Trepanier Hall

 202 West Second St

6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

  Opening Prayer – 6:00 – 6:15

 Food Break – 6:15 – 7:00

 Open Microphone - 7:45-8:50

A presentation by Jim Amell will take place at 7:00 – 7:30 PM to discuss his upcoming Community Assessment Project and Photovoice.
