Lung Run/Walk Traffic Advisory

On Saturday, September 24th, A Breath of Hope will host a 5K run/walk.  The event will be held in the Brighton Beach area, resulting in traffic interruption on the Scenic Highway (Congdon Boulevard).    The event starts with an informational village opening to the public at 8:00 a.m.  Surrounding roads are closed to traffic at 8:45a.m. to prepare for the 5K run starting at 9:15 a.m. and a 5K walk starting at 9:30 a.m.

 

During the run/walk portion of this event, Scenic Highway (Congdon Boulevard) will be closed to traffic between Highway 61 and Lakewood Road.  Traffic will be routed to the expressway.

 

Traffic should resume to normal by approximately 11:00 a.m.

 

 Motorists driving in the area of this event should be aware of this brief street closures and watch for barricades, pedestrians, participants and officers directing traffic.
