On September 19, 2016 at 7:30 p.m., Duluth Police, the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department, and Hermantown Police arrested 32 year old Devon Maurice Bowser in the area of Lake Avenue and 5th Street after executing a search warrant.

Investigators located and seized nine grams of heroin and seven Ecstasy pills containing the controlled substance MDMA on Bowser’s person. Bowser was taken to jail and criminally charged in Saint Louis District Court on 2nd degree and 5th degree possession of a controlled substance.

Bowser has been selling heroin and other controlled substances in the Twin Ports for years.  The Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force have executed other search warrants on him in the past.  In January of 2016 the task force executed a search on Bowser in Duluth where over 18 grams of heroin, ecstasy, marijuana, three firearms and $8,855 were seized. BOWSER has charges pending in Saint Louis County for a case in January, and a sale case in Douglas County by Superior Narcotic Unit.  Bowser has controlled substances convictions in Saint Louis County for fifth degree possession of a controlled substance x 2, third degree sale of controlled substances and multiple marijuana convictions.
