SUBJECT: Two Arrested on Drug Sales

INCIDENT LOCATION: 19th Avenue West and Superior Street Duluth

On Wednesday, October 5th, 2016 at around 4:00 p.m., Duluth Police and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force arrested 35 year old Eric Jermaine Pratt of Chicago, IL and 24 year old Zachery James Overfors of Duluth after executing a search warrant on a vehicle and their persons in the area of 19th Avenue West and Superior Street.

During the execution of the search warrant, investigators located and seized 39 grams of individually wrapped baggies of heroin and 2.42 grams of cocaine.  Overfors was taken to jail and criminally charged in Saint Louis District Court for 1st degree sale of heroin and two counts of 3rd degree sale of a controlled substance.  Pratt was also taken to jail and criminally charged in Saint Louis District Court for 1st degree sale of heroin and 3rd degree sale of a controlled substance.
