SUBJECT: Two Arrested on Drug Charges

INCIDENT LOCATION: 200 South 27th Avenue West Duluth

On Wednesday, October 5th, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., Duluth Police and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force arrested 22 year old Amir Dashawn Jackson of Detroit, MI and 33 year old Nicole Loraine Wallin of Duluth after executing a search warrant at a hotel room in the area of the 200 South block of 27th Avenue West.

Wallin who left the hotel room was stopped by investigators and arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.  During the search of her person, investigators located heroin.  A search warrant was executed on the room.  Investigators located and seized 16.6 grams of heroin, evidence of drug sales, and U.S. currency. 

Wallin was taken to jail on the outstanding felony warrant and criminally charged in Saint Louis District Court for 5th degree possession of a controlled substance.   Jackson was also taken to jail and criminally charged in Saint Louis District Court for 1st degree sale of heroin.
