Gas installation project to impact access to 8th St. and 18th Ave East in East Hillside
[Duluth, MN] - On Wednesday, October 19, 2016 the City of Duluth Public Works and Utilities department will be closing the intersection of 18th Ave East and East 8th Street to perform the installation of an upgraded natural gas pipeline as part of the utilities improvements related to St. Louis County's 4th Street reconstruction project. The intersection will be closed through October 21st and possibly later as the street is being restored. Traffic will be detoured to use 17th Ave East, 7th Street, and 19th Ave E.
On street parking will not be available in the vicinity of this project during this time period.
