INCIDENT LOCATION: 2000 West block of Superior Street Duluth
On Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 12:19 a.m., Duluth Police responded to the 2000 West block of Superior Street on a report of shooting. Officers arrived at the scene and determined a 47 year old male victim had been shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital facility where he later died from the gunshot wound. The victim has been identified as 47 year old Eric Wayne Burns. This incident is still under investigation and no additional information is available at this time.
