INCIDENT LOCATION: 200 block East 3rd Street in Duluth

On Wednesday, January 11th, 2017 at 1:01 a.m., Duluth Police and Fire Departments responded to the area of the 200 block of East 3rd Street on a report of a structure fire. A resident of the duplex was home at the time of the fire and was able to make it out.  The Duluth Fire Department arrived at the scene and was quickly able to extinguish the fire.  The cause of the fire was determined to be arson though initial investigation.   We are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the MN Arson Tip line at 1-800-723-2020. There is a reward of up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the identification of persons responsible for this fire. The reward is offered by the MN Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators.
