INCIDENT LOCATION: 700 block East 4th Street in Duluth
On Thursday, January 26th, 2017 at 1:28 p.m., Duluth Police responded to a local hospital on a report of a shooting victim. Officers established a crime scene in the area of 7th Avenue East and 4th Street. Investigators spoke with witnesses and continue to investigate the incident. The 17 year old male sustained non-life threatening injuries. We believe that the victim and suspect were known to each other and this was not a random shooting. Duluth Police does not believe there is a public safety concern relating to the incident. The investigation is ongoing and no other information is available.
