INCIDENT LOCATION: 100 block of North 65th Avenue West in Duluth

On Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at 11:53 p.m., Duluth Police responded to a report of a shooting in the area of the 100 block of North 65th Avenue West.  Officers arrived and interviewed witnesses at the scene, while the victim was interviewed at a local hospital.  Investigators determined there was a party at the victim’s home. Shots were fired at the residence. A 37 year old male inside the home was struck once during the shooting. The victim was transported to a local hospital and currently is in stable condition; injuries are non-life threatening. Two homes were hit during this incident, one being the victim's home and another near the victim’s home. No one was injured at the neighboring home.  No one is in custody at this time in connection with the shooting.  Duluth Police is asking for the public’s assistance for any information regarding this incident.
