On February 8, 2017, Duluth Police and investigators from the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force arrested 27 year old Brandon Raynal Coleman of Chicago, IL after a search warrant was executed in the 7400 block of Grand Avenue in Duluth. The search warrant was the result of an investigation into the sale of controlled substances, specifically heroin. During the search investigators recovered approximately 47 grams of heroin.  Approximately half of the suspected heroin was packaged for individual sale and half was in one large clump. Investigators also recovered $1,220 in U.S. currency from Coleman and other evidence of drug sales. Investigators arrested Brandon Coleman at the scene. 

On Friday, February 10th, 2017, Brandon Coleman was formally charged in Saint Louis District Court on 1st Degree Sale of Heroin.
