INCIDENT TIME: 12:40 p.m.
INCIDENT LOCATION: 40th Avenue East and London Road in Duluth
Yesterday, on April 4th, 2017 at 12:40 p.m., Duluth Police responded to the area of 40th Avenue East and London Road on a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. Officers arrived at the scene and determined that a SUV driven by a 49 year old female identified as Theresa Marie Katzmark of Superior, WI struck a 62 year old female identified as Donna Ruth Estrem of Duluth. Estrem died at the scene. Duluth Police established probable cause that Katzmark was driving under the influence. Katzmark was arrested and taken to the St. Louis County Jail pending charges of Criminal vehicular homicide.
