On Tuesday, April 11th, 2017, Duluth Police Officers and Investigators from the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 400 block of 53rd Avenue West in Duluth. The search warrant was the result of an investigation into the suspected sale of controlled substances, specifically methamphetamine, by the resident of that apartment, 52 year old Scott William Bushy. The search warrant was the result of ongoing complaints of Bushy selling methamphetamine from his apartment and trading methamphetamine for stolen property. During the search investigators recovered methamphetamine, drug packaging, digital scales along with other evidence of methamphetamine sales.
On April 25, 2017, Scott Bushy was formally charged by the St. Louis County Attorney’s office with 2nd Degree Sale of Methamphetamine in a Public Housing Zone. He is currently in custody at the Saint Louis County Jail in Duluth.
