with Mayor Larson, community members and the League of American Bicyclists

 

[Duluth, MN] - Mayor Emily Larson and several Duluth community members will host a news conference with the League of American Bicyclists to receive a Bronze award as a Bicycle Friendly Community. This recognition is given every four years to communities and is significant as it celebrates efforts to promote “Bus Bike Walk Duluth” during the month of May and Duluth’s continued progress towards supporting alternative modes of transit. Duluth received this recognition in 2013.  

 

Mayor Larson and representatives will make remarks. 

 

Bus Bike Walk is presented by Essentia Health, maurices, Krech-Ojard Architects, MN Power, Eagle Accounting, in partnership with the City of Duluth, and hosted by the Zeitgeist Center for Arts & Community.
