Traffic Signal Painting Project to begin in Downtown Duluth

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is informing the public about an upcoming project to paint and refresh 10 traffic signal control systems in the downtown Duluth area over the summer. Work is expected to start on Monday June 26th and takes approximately 2 weeks to complete for each intersection, depending on weather.

Lane shifts and lane closures will be necessary to setup equipment required for painting. Motorists should be aware of the contractor/equipment working at these intersections, proceed with caution and follow the temporary traffic control setup for each work zone. The work crew will be at the intersections listed below (though not necessarily in that order) working 10 hour shifts Monday through Friday. No work is planned for the July 4th holiday.
