Gear Up for Fall Job Fair is August 16 in Duluth

[Duluth, MN] – Fall is a great time to look at career options with help from the staff at the Minnesota Workforce Center and Duluth Workforce Development. The Gear Up for Fall Job Fair on August 16 from 3-6 PM will be held at 402 West First Street  and will have over 30 employers on hand with information about job openings in their companies.  Attendees should bring resumes and be ready to meet employers. This event is free to the public.

“We are excited to be hosting the Gear up for Fall Job Fair where more than 30 employers from across the area will be participating and are looking to hire qualified candidates.  Whether someone is looking for a fresh start, a better job, or a new career direction, job seekers will find a wealth of exciting opportunities at this free job fair.  This event is just one example of how the Duluth Workforce Center directly helps residents while also working to strengthen local businesses,” said Paula Reed, Manager of Duluth Workforce Development.  
 

“The Workforce Center helps connect job seekers to prospective employers. We encourage job seekers to learn more about the registered employers for this job fair, bring their resume and be ready to impress. We also have computers available for people to apply for positions on the spot! It’s the kind of support that people can expect when they come to the Workforce Center,” said Rhonda Rutford, Workforce Development Representative.
 

The Minnesota Workforce Center is located at 402 West First Street in downtown Duluth. A public parking ramp is located on the same block in addition to on street meter parking.
