Groundbreaking Ceremony for Deep Winter Greenhouse 

September 6, 2017 at 4 PM at 45th Ave West and Grand Ave in West Duluth

 

[Duluth, MN] - Mayor Emily Larson and several community partners (Junior League, Community Action Duluth, Zeitgeist) will convene for the official groundbreaking of the Deep Winter Greenhouse in West Duluth on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 4 PM. The Deep Winter Greenhouse, to be constructed on the corner of 45th Ave West and Grand Ave, will grow fresh produce at low cost during the coldest months of the year. This greenhouse will be operated by Community Action Duluth’s Seeds of Success program, allowing them to expand their transitional employment program and increase the amount of healthy food available at the Lincoln Park Farmer’s Market.

 

Guests should park along 45th Ave West.
