Gas utility project on London Road moves closer to completion

 

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth has been working to improve the gas service that stretches along London Road this summer. The project is nearing completion and with that comes some traffic adjustments. The work stretches along London Road on the upper side between 35th and 40th Ave East. The intersection at 36th Ave East has been closed for several weeks as part of this project but will now reopen starting Wednesday, September 13 as crews redirect their focus onto the 40th Ave East intersection. Access to other residential streets via 40th Ave East from London Road will be closed but alternate routes are 45th Ave East or 36th Ave East. 

 

Motorists are reminded to drive slowly as they approach the project site. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in early October. DTA transit schedule changes can be found at www.duluthtransit.com
