Aerial Lift Bridge reduced to one lane travel on Tuesday, October 17

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is informing the public about some site assessment work that will take place on the Aerial Lift Bridge on October 17, 2017. This work is necessary to prepare for the anticipated deck replacement project that will start in January 2018. To accommodate this work, the Lift Bridge will be reduced to single lane two-way traffic from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm on October 17. Motorists should be mindful of the traffic signal, drive slowly and watch for the possible presence of flaggers. Motorists should also plan additional travel time as there will be delays. The Aerial Lift Bridge may also lift for marine traffic, if requested.
