INCIDENT LOCATION: 11501 HWY 23 in Duluth

The woman severely injured in yesterday’s fire has been identified as Jaclyn Arnold 24 year old Duluth resident. Arnold remains in critical condition at a Minneapolis hospital. This is an ongoing criminal investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Duluth Police Violent Crimes Unit at (218)730-5050.

On Thursday, October 19th at 1:59 p.m., Duluth Police responded to 11501 Hwy 23 for a report of a woman on fire. Duluth Police located a severely burned woman who was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. Duluth Police are seeking witnesses who may have been on Highway 23 near the area of the Lake Superior College Fire Training Center during the time of this incident.
