City temporarily closes portions of Lakewalk Trail and Brighton Beach

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is informing the public that a portion of the Lakewalk Trail is temporarily closed until further notice. The City is closing the portion of the Trail from Endion Station to and including the Portland Malte shoppe stairway. The segment from the Malt Shoppe to Water street is open but not passable at 16th Ave due to barriers in place. Brighton Beach is closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic.

 

The City is working to clean and repair the area and will inform the public when the Trail and Brighton Beach can be reopened.
