Superior Street Reconstruction Public Open House is November 16

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is hosting a Superior Street Reconstruction public open house on Thursday, November 16, at 4:30 pm in the Great Hall of the Radisson Hotel in downtown Duluth. This meeting is the culmination of two years of public engagement including multiple public and small scale stakeholder meetings. Doors open at 4:30 pm and the program commences at 5:00 pm. This meeting is free and open to the public. All are encouraged to attend.

 

City staff and consultants from LHB will review the construction phases, timeline, staging, access during construction, traffic controls, and communications. The entirety of the project will be discussed even though the first phase will encompass only the western end of Superior Street between 7th ave West and up to 3rd Ave West, not including the 3rd Ave West intersection. Phase 1 is slated to start in the spring of 2018.

 

The public can stay up to date and get project information, navigation maps, project designs and subscribe for updates on the www.superiorstreet.org website.
