Aerial Lift Bridge to undergo painting on May 7

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is working with a contractor to finalize the decking project on the Aerial Lift Bridge. With the completion of the new deck, some final painting and touch up is required. On Monday, May 7th starting at 9 AM, the Lift Bridge will be reduced to one lane of travel. Motorists are asked to use caution and proceed slowly across the bridge for the safety of personnel. If needed, work may extend into Tuesday. The Lift Bridge will return to two way travel in the evening hours.
