 Duluth Community to Celebrate Completion of Edible Duluth Denfeld Deep Winter Greenhouse

[Duluth, MN] –  Mayor Emily Larson, the Junior League of Duluth, Community Action Duluth, Zeitgeist Center for Arts and Community and the City of Duluth Community Planning division will convene to celebrate the completion of the Edible Duluth Denfeld Deep Winter Greenhouse on July 11, 2018 at 3:00 pm. The greenhouse will be managed by the Community Action Duluth Seeds of Success program and will primarily operate during the winter months growing produce such as spinach, kale, and lettuce for the area residents. This is Duluth's first deep winter greenhouse.   

 

The community is invited to attend this celebration. Following the remarks from Mayor Larson and the project contributors, the community can view the new greenhouse, learn about future potential activities on the site and enjoy light refreshments.
