The City of Duluth Police Department, in partnership with the St. Louis County Attorney’s Office, the Program for Aid to Victims of Sexual Assault (PAVSA), and the National Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) Training and Technical Assistance team, announces the 2018 SAKI Assembly of Cities. This meeting will take place Tuesday, September 11th through Thursday, September 13th, 2018, in Duluth, MN at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) located at 350 Harbor Drive, Duluth, MN 55802.

 

The 2018 Assembly of Cities will assist in the core mission of SAKI by bringing together jurisdictions from across the nation to discuss the sustainability of their sexual assault reform efforts and produce a set of promising practices. This event will provide an opportunity for site representatives to outline their sustainability efforts and to answer, “Where are we now?”. We encourage attendance from practitioners representing advocacy, law enforcement, prosecution, forensic science, forensic medicine, as well as researchers and state or local public officials.
