 Commonwealth Ave Reconstruction Scheduled for Completion September 21

 

 

[Duluth, MN] - A stretch of Commonwealth Ave in the Gary New Duluth neighborhood is undergoing reconstruction. Crews are improving the road surface as well as storm water infrastructure, between East Prescott Street and Hudson Blvd. Commonwealth Ave provides access to BoyScout Landing. The work involves installing a new storm drain, new curb and gutter and new pavement.

There is no on street parking in the project area. Access to the Boy Scout landing parking lot is open via East Prescott Street. A signed detour route is posted. The contractor anticipates substantially completing the project by September 21st. There will be some minor work after that date.
