SUBJECT: Gas Service Interruption

Gas Service to Residents Interrupted

 

A contractor hit a gas main this afternoon on Commonwealth Avenue and West Peary Street.    

Gas service will be shut off to over 100 homes located between the North-South boundaries of East Bowser Street and Hudson Boulevard, and the West-East boundaries of Commonwealth Avenue and 95th Ave West.

  

It is anticipated that repairs will be completed in the next few hours.  However, City crews will need to visit each home to relight pilot lights, which could take until Saturday. 

 

 

The City of Duluth appreciates the cooperation of residents during the repair period and asks that you accommodate the City crews as they work to restore gas service to each home.
