Mayor Larson Invites Public to Upcoming City Hall in the City Community Listening Sessions
[Duluth, MN] - Duluth Mayor Emily Larson invites Duluth residents to attend the upcoming City Hall in the City Community Listening sessions that are held in neighborhoods across the city. Mayor Larson started these listening sessions in partnership with City Councilors to ensure residents have an opportunity to speak directly to their elected officials one-on-one. Several sessions remain for resident participation for the remainder of the year.
City staff are also in attendance and represent Public Works, Parks, Finance, Public Safety, Human Rights, and Imagine Duluth 2035. The sessions enable residents to have individualized conversations with the Mayor, City Councilors or City staff about various topics.
The upcoming City Hall in the City listening sessions run from 5:30-7:00 pm. These sessions are open to all residents and children are welcome to attend. The dates and locations with City Councilors are as follows:
September 19, 2018 - Norton Park Community Center, 81st St. & Coleman Ave West (in attendance is Councilor Zack Filipovich)
October 16, 2018 - Pennel Park apartments, 330 North Arlington (in attendance is Councilor Renee Van Nett)
November 14, 2018 - Lake Superior College campus, 2101 Trinity Road, Room S1981 (with Councilor Arik Forsman - building map is available at https://www.lsc.edu/wp-content/uploads/BuildingMap.pdf )
