INCIDENT LOCATION: 604 Dale Place
At 0305 this morning the Duluth Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire at 604 Dale Place. Initial arriving engine company was on the scene within three minutes and reported fire in an exterior wall. The fire was contained by firefighters, and held to the exterior wall.
Crews from Minnesota Power responded quickly to assist by disconnecting power to the home, and crews were able to extinguish the remaining fire.
Initial damage estimates are at $15,000 to the structure, and another $10,000 to the contents.
The origin and cause of the fire is under investigation by the Duluth Fire Marshal's office. There were no reported injuries.
