On Wednesday October 3rd, officers responded to a call reporting that Rodney Lloyd Johnson and Devon Walterlee Johnson were stabbed by an unknown assailant and were uncooperative when asked for more information. Both were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The renter of the residence was found next door where she fled to have the neighbor call 911. The renter admitted to stabbing Rodney and Devon in self defense. Evidence at the scene supported this claim and she was not lodged. A few hours later Rodney and Devon were released from the hospital and returned to the residence where another argument occurred. During this incident, Devon retrieved a firearm with a laser and pointed it at the victim and threatened to kill her. Devon handed the gun to Rodney who hid it in the closet. While the victim was on the phone with 911 she exited the apartment as advised with her two children and is met by officers. Devon booked to County Jail for 2nd degree assault, threats of violence, felon in possession and domestic assault. Rodney booked to County Jail for felon in possession.
