 Public Information Meeting Scheduled for October 30 to discuss

Essentia Health "Vision Northland" Project

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth will be hosting a public information meeting about the proposed Essentia Health "Vision Northland" Project where a projected investment of approximately $675 million would be dedicated towards developing a new modernized medical campus in downtown Duluth. The project will build approximately 815,000 square feet of new space and renovate another 115,000 square feet in existing facilities. This plan would modify and consolidate the existing campus. Essentia will invest another $125 million on related infrastructure and financing. The meeting is open to the public and will take place October 30, 2018 from 5:30-7:00 pm in the Central Hillside Community Center, 12 East 4th St.

The public meeting will provide the public with information about Vision Northland but also review additional steps for the project such as an Environmental Assessment Worksheet and a Planning Review to be conducted by the Duluth Planning Commission.
