SUBJECT: Three Arrested in Fentanyl Search Warrant

INCIDENT LOCATION: 700 Block of Fisher St in Superior, WI
[DULUTH, MN] - On November 27th 2018, the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force and the Superior Police Department Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 700 block of Fisher Street in the City of Superior. The search warrant was the result of an investigation in the sale of fentanyl at the residence. During the search investigators recovered approximately 13 grams of fentanyl packaged for sale, $720, digital scales and drug paraphernalia. Police arrested three individuals as a result of the investigation:
Marshaun Clark, 27, of Chicago, Illinois
Cody Tyler Hartling, 28, of Duluth
Kayla Joann Krygowski, 22, of Superior.
Clark was charged by the Douglas County Attorney’s Office with Possession with Intent to Deliver Narcotics and is being held on $5,000 bond at the Douglas County Jail. Clark has a previous conviction in Minnesota for 5th Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance. Cody Hartling was charged with Possession with Intent and Party to a Crime and is being held on $1,000 bond at the Douglas County Jail. Krygowski was booked and released from the Douglas County Jail.
Cody Hartling was one of the occupants of an apartment in the 400 block of Mesaba Avenue in Duluth where the Task Force executed five search warrants for controlled substance sales in a two year period from 2015-2017.
