Mayor Larson, Visit Duluth and Upper Minnesota Film Office

to Hold News Conference Today, December 10 at 1 PM

 

[Duluth, MN] - Duluth Mayor Emily Larson, Anna Tanski with Visit Duluth and Rikki McManus with the Upper Minnesota Film Office will hold a news conference today, December 10, at 1:00 PM in the Visit Duluth conference room in response to ITV's announcement that they plan relocate their Independent Television Festival office and ITVFest, a five day festival, to Duluth! ITV was most recently located in Vermont and is excited to be part of the thriving arts and cultural scene in Duluth. ITV plans to open an office in Duluth early next year and have year round programming. They estimate that the film festival could bring over $1.5 million into the local economy.
