INCIDENT LOCATION: 100 Block W Reis St
[DULUTH, MN] - On Monday, December 10th at 6:15 PM, the Duluth Police Department was called to the 100 Block of W Reis St on the report of Brian Ross Shaw (34) shooting Kevin John Weiss (35). Shaw and Weiss had an altercation outside the residence resulting in Shaw shooting Weiss. Paramedics responded to the scene and performed life-saving efforts on Weiss, but attempts were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead. All parties were known to each other and there is no danger to the public. Shaw was brought into custody and the Duluth Police Department has requested 2nd Degree Manslaughter charges from the St. Louis County Attorneys office. This is an ongoing investigation.
