SUBJECT: Shop With A Cop event to provide kids with a little extra this giving season

[DULUTH, MN] - On Monday, December 17th, 2018 at 6:00 PM at Duluth Target, Duluth Police officers will meet up with local kids for the annual Blue Santa: Shop with a Cop program. Funds donated from members of the Duluth Police Department, other organizations, or from a grant have provided enough money this holiday season to give 15 kids a $250 Target gift card. Each child is then paired up with a cop who takes the kids shopping in Target to buy items for themselves, family members, or both. 

The Duluth Police Department partners up with the Salvation Army to identify children and their families who may benefit from a little extra help during such a wonderful giving season. This event wouldn't be possible without the support from our local Target Store who provides such a welcoming environment for this event to take place.
