SUBJECT: Two Charged with 1st Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance

INCIDENT LOCATION: 500 Block of E 10th St
[DULUTH, MN] - On December 13th 2018, Investigators from the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of East 10th Street as well as a motor vehicle and two individuals at that residence. The search warrant was the result of an investigation into the sale of heroin by the two individuals in the Twin Ports area. During the searches police recovered approximately 44 grams of heroin packaged for sale, over $13,000 U.S. currency, drug packaging and digital scales.
Police arrested two males who were lodged at the St. Louis County Jail. On December 17th 2018, the St. Louis County Jail formally charged both men.
Thomas James Williams, 26, of Chicago, and Nicholas Lawrence Abe Bailey, 22, also of Chicago, were each charged with Aid and Abet 1st Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance. Bail was set at $40,000 for each.
